ArkAgent
The browser agent behind ark, a personal shopping assistant.
What it does
ArkAgent can be called from the agent harnesses and LLM platforms our users already work with. Every visit still starts from one user's explicit request.
ArkAgent visits an online store only when one of our users asks it to buy something there. For that one request it:
- opens the product page the user chose, or finds it through the store's own search;
- reads the price, availability and delivery terms;
- adds the item to the cart and fills in the checkout form with the user's own details.
The user reviews every order and confirms it. ArkAgent does not pay for or place an order on its own.
Orders are paid on delivery through local delivery services such as Nova Poshta. ArkAgent never enters card details.
What it does not do
- Crawl, index or monitor sites, or collect prices and content in bulk.
- Use your content to train models.
- Solve CAPTCHAs, create accounts or get around access controls.
Traffic
One page at a time per user request, usually 10 to 40 page loads for a whole purchase, and never more than about one navigation per second to a site. We are an early-stage startup, so overall volume is small.
ark is in an early alpha in Ukraine, so for now ArkAgent mostly visits Ukrainian online stores.
